Selling to Us
- We are always interested in acquiring books of comparable quality to the ones we list on our website. We offer fair prices and pay immediately (excluding commission sales, where we pay after the sale of the book is complete), although we will not pay for books until we have examined them.
- If you contact us to sell a book of books, we need to know: • the author
- We may contact you for clarification on some of these
- Please feel free to send photographs, but don't crop the pictures, we must be able to see the edges.
- We cannot provide definitive valuations or offer by email or telephone (We are happy to offer free valuation of books that are brought to our shop during our regular business hours).
- We are most likely to give you a broad estimate and ask you to send us the book(s) before we make an exact offer, or if you prefer, we can arrange collection by a courier. If you then accept our offer, we send you a cheque. If you don't like our offer, it has cost you nothing and you are not committed. We will arrange and pay for the return of your book(s). Please bear in mind that we are buying books to re-sell them, so we have to price books realistically to do this. You will receive a fair price and immediate payment with no hassle, waiting, returns or costs.
- Due to the high volume of email we receive every day, we cannot always reply to every offer. If you do not receive a rely within seven days, please assume we do not intend to make an offer for your book(s).
