Series Photo Book Series Number Two

Photo Book Series—A series of books by Alfred Wainwright produced in a coffee table style, motivated by his failing eyesight, which made producing new quality drawings difficult. They mostly used photographs by Derry Brabbs combined with a selection of Wainwrights previously published illustrations and newly written text. Wainwright in the Limestone Dales and Wainwright's Tour in the Lake District used Ed Geldard as photographer and Fellwalking with a Camera used Wainwright's own black and white photographs. The complete series runs: Fellwalking with Wainwright, Wainwright on the Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk, Fellwalking with a Camera, Wainwright in Scotland, Wainwright on the Lakeland Mountain Passes, Wainwright in the Limestone Dales, Wainwright's Favourite Lakeland Mountains, Wainwright in the Valleys of Lakeland and Wainwright's tour in the Lake District. The series contains 10 books. The first book was originally published in 1984 and the last book was originally published in 1993
