Condition Summary: (Fair) A rather worn copy. All notable faults: Heavy wear at the edges of the backstrip, very heavy sunning on the backstrip, some wear to the edges of the plates, which are rather fragile, and offsetting on adjacent pages, moderate foxing on the prelims and edges of the pages, frontispiece not present, large area of heavy tape residue to the gutter of the title page and contemporary previous owner's name on the free front endpaper
