Condition Summary: (Good/Good) A generally sound book, in a reasonably tidy dust jacket. All notable faults: Book has moderate wear at the head of the spine, some surface soiling, light foxing on the prelims and page ends and previous owner's inscription on the free front endpaper. Dust jacket has heavy chipping up to 25mm deep on the head and tail of the spine, some other wear on the corners and edges, lightly sunned on the spine and minor browning. Dust jacket conservation: Tears and chips have been stabilised with Japanese paper, using Methyl Cellulose conservation adhesive [fully reversible]
