The seventeenth of Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit Series books (the twelfth book in the 'First Series'), first published by Frederick Warne and Co in 1911. Being rather delicate books and given mainly to small children, first and early editions rarely survive in nice condition and are sought after both Potter collectors and people wishing to give a special present.
