The third of Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit Series books, first published privately in 1902, then by Frederick Warne and Co in 1903. Being rather delicate books and given mainly to small children, first and early editions rarely survive in nice condition and are sought after both Potter collectors and people wishing to give a special present. The story tells of a tailor who falls ill and is unable to complete an important commission. When he returns to his shop, however, he finds the waistcoat mysteriously completed ….
