- We are situated in the small Cumbrian Market Town of Kendal, 20 minutes from M6 junction 36 and on the way to the Lake District. Our shop is a short diversion from the main route into the Lake District (the A591 off M6 junction 36.) We are only two minutes walk from Kendal town centre.
- If coming from the south, leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow the A590 to Kendal and the Lakes. After less than 10 minutes of dual carriageway, you will see a clearly signed exit to Kendal South. Take this exit and follow the road into Kendal. Follow the signs for the town centre, which will lead you into the one way system. After about 1 km, you will approach a main crossroads with the pedestrianised part of the town centre and the tourist information centre straight ahead. The HSBC bank will be on your left. To the left of the HSBC is a small lane called Collin Croft.
- We are a few meters up Collin Croft on the left. It is possible to stop a car very briefly outside the shop (to drop things off or pick them up), but otherwise use one of the many sign-posted town centre car parks. The closest public car park is Booths: turn left at the crossroads, up Allhallows Lane and first right. The JD Wetherspoon car park is also situated just up the next lane on the left after Collin Croft. It is free to JDW customers. From the north, take the Kendal bypass, and enter Kendal from the south, following the directions above.
Directions on Foot (Train or Bus)
- From the town centre, follow the signs for the Tourist Information Centre and Town Hall. From here walk south (passing the Oxfam Bookshop on your right) for a few meters and you will wee the HSBC bank (formerly the Westmorland Bank) on your right. To the left of the HSBC, as you look at it, is a small lane called Collin Croft. We are a few meters up Collin Croft on the left.
