Northern Fells

The fifth of Wainwrights books to be published (and the last to be published by Henry Marshall), forming part of the seven volume Pictorial Guide Series. Each chapter describes a series of routes up one of the fells through strip maps and accompanying commentary and illustrations of the topography.
There are twenty four sections: Bakestall, Bannerdale Crags, Binsey, Blencathra, Bowscale Fell, Brae Fell, Carl Side, Carrock Fell, Dodd, Great Calva, Great Cockup, Great Sca Fell, High Pike, Knott, Latrigg, Longlands Fell, Long Side, Lonscale Fell, Meal Fell, Mungrisdale Comman, Skiddaw, Skiddaw Little Man, Souther Fell and Ulluck Pike.
