Central Fells
The third of Wainwrights books to be published, forming part of the seven volume Pictorial Guide series. Each section describes a series of routes up one of the fells through strip maps and accompanying commentary and illustrations of the topography.
There are twenty seven chapters: Armboth Fell, Bleaberry Fell, Blea Rig, Calf Crag, Eagle Crag, Gibson Knott, Grange Fell, Great Crag, Harrison Stickle, Helm Crag, High Raise, High Rigg, High Seat, High Tove, Loft Crag, Loughrigg Fell, Pavey Ark, Pike O' Stickle, Raven Crag, Sergeant Man, Sergeant's Crag, Silver How, Steel Fell, Tarn Crag, Thunacar Knott, Ullscarf and Walla Crag.
